Digi Spec
The DigiSPEC Digital Imaging X-Ray System has been developed to allow surgeons to perform quick and accurate measurements of margin around a removed tumor while still in surgery.
Applications
The DigiSPEC scans and checks to make sure the edges of the removed tissue are free of cancer cells. This indicates whether all of the cancer has been removed giving surgeons the ability to return to a patient immediately should additional excisions be needed.
